Houston Zoo

On Tuesday....Mary, Kloi, Addison and I took at trip to Houston and went to the Zoo.  We had a wonderful time.  The girls were so worn out by the end of the day.

 Sweet Girls!
 Miss Addison
 Miss Kloi
It is hard to see in this picture but this monkey in holding a baby.

The girls looking at the huge Koi fish!

These two pictures of Kloi's face make me laugh.  She liked riding the carousel but seemed to be kind of scared.  I don't think that she really like the up and down movement.

Addison looking at the otters playing together.
Kloi and Addison looking at the turtle in water.
This is a tunnel that the girls walked into, that at end where Kloi is standing you can stand up and look around outside.  If I remember correctly they used to have meerkats outside that you can look at but they have now moved them to a new area.

They had a little petting zoo area that had goats that you could brush.

This was in the little playground area that the girls played at.
These are in the new African area of the zoo.  This part has been redone.  It looks very nice.  This is a picture of the Rhinos and some type of deer in the right side of the picture.
The girls playing with the trash can that you can turn and make it different pictures.
Looking at the monkeys!
This monkey wasn't bothered by us sitting right behind it.  It just sat there trying to take a nap.
This is just a picture of how pretty it looked.  Loved all the big trees!
 Trying on the mask!

Addison and Kloi being silly blowing on each others bellies!
The Lions!!

As we were watching the lions there was this couple with a baby and a boy that was probably like 4 years old.  The boy climbs between the fence and glass and is standing there with his back against the glass so that his father could take pictures of him.  Well as we are sitting there, the lion all the way on the right side of the picture notices this little boy up against the glass.  The lion starts to slowly creep up there and is in it's attack position.  It only took a couple small steps.  I see this...look at Mary and she started to back off because she is seeing the same thing.  I look at the parents and holler at them to get there child.  I really don't know if they understood what I told them because they were of another race and it took them a couple of seconds to tell there child to come on.  I hope that nothing would have happen because as you can see the glass between us and the lions was very thick but you never know!!
Such cute girls!!!  I was finally able to get Kloi to smile by telling her not to smile!!  But of coarse couldn't get both girls to smile at the same time. =)

This picture makes me laugh.  It looks like Addison is in shock of the alligator.  She has started...when she is shocked by something opening her mouth then putting her hand over her mouth!  So cute!!

This is a little tunnel that you can crawl through with fish swimming over you.  The girls loved doing this.  I think they did it about 20 times.

This isn't a very good picture but you can see how much Addison is enjoying it.
Addison went back in the tunnel and I found her sitting there talking with this little boy.  None of the words made any sense but they were just sitting there talking pointing at the fish.

  1. Great pics, Jody. Love the tunnel shot! The second of Addison coming through reminds me of Lainey.

And, look at your big girl on the carousel! So cute.
